Chew-ba-cca

I loved soft chewy cookies, ate it almost everyday while studying in Wisconsin (because I worked in the deli and had to bake them). Just scooped the cookie dough, bake them for 10-15 minutes and they are ready to go.

Saw the photo in my newly acquired recipe book, it looks so yummy and I decided to have a go at it. The result turns out to be more like a flat cake or flat muffin rather than the chewy cookie. I must go and find if the author has an email address I can write to … another of my futile attempt. Not a good week!
