My Own Durain Cake!

I absolutely love durain ... and only the fruit itself!! Not the cake, the kuih, the ice-cream or any of the by-product, until Goodwood Park durian puff came along! That was years ago!! Recently, a friend of my brought a durain cake for our house party, it's like eating the fruit itself with some sponge cake as compliments ... Yummilious, we finished the whole cake that day.
I've since made my own durain puff (sorry, no photos due to the crappy camera we bought) and I've also made my own version of durian cake.

I used Baking Mum's spongecake recipe for the cake, and bought about 3 durain fruit. Removed all the meat, used my kitchen aid to mixed it together, added 2 Tbsp of cream to the mixture.
