Chocolate Chip Cookie

Chocolate Chip Cookie was one of my stable food during university days. I remembered spending US$1 dollar for one of those huge and chewy chocolate chip cookies, dunk it into a tall glass of cold fresh milk … it’s just heavenly!

Ingredients:
113 grams Butter
220 grams Brown Sugar
3 tbsp Sugar
1 Egg
2 tbsp Coffee Liqueur
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1½ tsp Instant coffee powder
245 grams Plain Flour
220 grams chocolate chips

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180(C. Line baking sheet with parchment paper

  2. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy, then beat in the egg and coffee liqueur

  3. Combine baking soda, baking powder, salt and coffee granules and beat into the butter mixture

  4. Stir in the chocolate chip

  5. Form into a 2” diameter ball and bake in the middle of the oven until brown. For a crispier cookie, leave it inside the oven for slightly longer.
