Chocolate Chip Cookie
Chocolate Chip Cookie was one of my stable food during university days. I remembered spending US$1 dollar for one of those huge and chewy chocolate chip cookies, dunk it into a tall glass of cold fresh milk … it’s just heavenly!
Ingredients:
113 grams Butter
220 grams Brown Sugar
3 tbsp Sugar
1 Egg
2 tbsp Coffee Liqueur
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1½ tsp Instant coffee powder
245 grams Plain Flour
220 grams chocolate chips
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180(C. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
- Cream butter with sugar until fluffy, then beat in the egg and coffee liqueur
- Combine baking soda, baking powder, salt and coffee granules and beat into the butter mixture
- Stir in the chocolate chip
- Form into a 2” diameter ball and bake in the middle of the oven until brown. For a crispier cookie, leave it inside the oven for slightly longer.
